Honda Ireland announces Max Hart as brand ambassador
Rising Irish motorsport star Max Hart joins Honda Ireland as a Honda Brand Ambassador. Fresh from securing his first TCR UK Touring Car Championship victory of the season, Hart will represent the Honda brand off the track throughout the year as he continues to build his reputation on the international motorsport stage. The young driver is competing in the TCR Europe Touring Car Series with ALM Motorsport, while also racing in the TCR UK Championship with Hall’s Racing.
Hailing from Baltinglass in County Wicklow, Max is no stranger to the Honda brand and currently races a Honda Civic Type R, making the partnership a natural fit for both the driver and the brand. Named Motorsport Ireland Young Driver of the Year 2024, Hart has established himself as one of the leading young talents in Irish motorsport, with more than 77 podium finishes and over 22 race victories to his name.
As part of the partnership, Max will also be driving the Honda Civic, giving him the opportunity to experience the model's combination of performance, comfort and practicality beyond the racetrack. The Honda Civic is now available in Sport trim, adding a distinctive and dynamic edge to the award-winning model while retaining the advanced hybrid technology and everyday versatility that make it ideally suited to both city driving and longer journeys. For Max, the Civic will be his car of choice away from the track, providing a natural connection between his passion for performance and the everyday driving experience offered by Honda.

As Honda Ireland and Max Hart begin their partnership, the collaboration will bring together Max’s passion for performance and motorsport with Honda’s renowned engineering and innovation. Throughout the year, Max will showcase the Honda range from a driver’s perspective, offering an authentic insight into the performance, technology and everyday driving experience of Honda’s cars.
With Max taking to the road in the Honda Civic and continuing to compete at the highest level of motorsport, the partnership will highlight the shared spirit of performance that connects Honda’s road and racing heritage, while looking ahead to the return of the iconic Honda Prelude to Irish roads.
